1. No cookies, no tracking
This website does not set cookies and does not use analytics, tracking pixels, or any third-party marketing/behavioral tools. We also do not embed third-party content (e.g., maps, fonts from third-party CDNs, or social media widgets) that would place cookies or create fingerprints.
2. Server log files (hosting)
When you access the website, the web server automatically processes so-called “server log files” (e.g., date and time of access, requested file/URL, amount of data transferred, referrer header, browser and operating system information, and—shortly and in a truncated form where possible—IP address).
Purpose: ensuring technical provision, stability, and IT security of the service.
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interests).
Retention: log files are deleted as soon as they are no longer needed for the purposes stated above; typically after a few days and no longer than 14 days, unless a security-relevant incident requires longer retention.
Recipient: our hosting provider processes these data on our behalf under a data processing agreement (Art. 28 GDPR). The data are stored in the EU/EEA.
3. Contact by email
If you contact us by email, we process your message and the personal data you provide (e.g., name, email address, content of the inquiry) to respond.
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (performance of a contract or pre-contractual steps) or Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interests in handling inquiries).
Retention: we delete correspondence when it is no longer required for the original purpose and no statutory retention obligations apply.
4. No onward disclosure / international transfers
Personal data are not disclosed to third parties except to the hosting provider named above and, where necessary, service providers bound by contract (processors). No data are transferred to countries outside the EU/EEA. We do not sell personal data.
5. Your rights (GDPR)
You have the right of access (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20), and to object to processing based on Art. 6(1)(f) (Art. 21). You may withdraw consent at any time if we ever rely on consent (Art. 7(3)); withdrawal does not affect prior processing.
To exercise your rights, contact us at the email above.
6. Right to lodge a complaint
You may lodge a complaint with a data protection authority, in particular with the authority of your habitual residence or with the authority responsible for us:
Berliner Beauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit, Alt-Moabit 59-61, 10555 Berlin, Germany, phone +49 30 13889-0, mailbox@datenschutz-berlin.de
7. External links
Our website contains links to external sites (e.g., Instagram, LinkedIn). When you click a link, the respective provider becomes responsible for any subsequent data processing on their site.
8. Security
We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect personal data against accidental or unlawful destruction, loss, alteration, or unauthorized disclosure or access.
9. Updates to this notice
We may update this privacy policy to reflect changes in our website or legal requirements. The current version is published here.
